Crispy Brussels Sprouts recipe (Indian style)

Crispy Indian Brussels Sprouts are made with aromatic spices, parmesan and baked until golden crisp, served with an Indian mint chutney.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin powder
  • 3 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 4 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Serve with mint chutney(optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Rinse and dry the Brussels Sprouts. Trim off the extra stem, cut them in half and place it in a mixing bowl.
  • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric and cumin powder. Pour the mixture over Brussels Sprouts and mix well until evenly coated with the spices.
  • Spread the Brussels Sprouts in a single layer over a baking dish with the flat side facing down. Sprinkle over salt and parmesan cheese, and bake for 20 to 30 minutes until golden and the edges turn crispy.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and serve with a mint chutney dip or sprinkle over some chopped cilantro.
